This tea room is a white tea room. There are many different whites, with different materials, textures and light reflections. For example, the walls are covered with white washi paper, which absorbs light softly and adds depth to the space. The front wall is finished with a powerful white clay wall, which shows both the strength of the clay and the delicacy of the plasterer's craftsmanship. A white wooden lattice is used on the ceiling to allow the eye to naturally look upwards and be aware of the connection between the tea room and the outside world.
