Sake Taru Lounge

Sake Taru Lounge is a sake bar on the third floor of the Kobe Port Tower observation deck. The floor was originally used as a coffee shop and has been reborn as a place to promote the appeal of sake, a representative culture of Kobe. The walls of the bar are made in the image of large sake barrels, reused from the sake barrels used to make sake, allowing visitors to enjoy Kobe's cultural sake while enjoying a 360° view of the city, its sea, mountains and city. The stools are also made from sake barrels, and the seating counter is made from a combination of cedar, cypress and zelkova from the local Rokko Mountains. Everything in this space is made from Kobe materials, creating a space where visitors can experience the charm of Kobe.
