Residence in Miyatsukacho

The Residence in Miyatsukacho was built in 1952, fulfilling its mission as a municipal housing complex and lying unused for a long time. With its historical stonework and somewhat charming exterior, it has been of interest to 'old building lovers' in the Kobe-Ashiya area. Ashiya City decided to preserve and utilise this building, and as there are few places in Ashiya that function as 'working' places, it was decided to utilise it as a gathering place for 'workshops', which symbolise the image of the city.
